Time and time again I get asked very similar questions by fitness seekers. Here are some of the most commonly asked questions, and their corresponding answers, regarding KrunkFit and my work specifically. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, please send me a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

IS KRUNKFIT A NATIONAL FITNESS PROGRAM

No. Not yet! KrunkFit is the original idea of its founder, Wendy. Wendy has spent 11 years in fitness and incorporates her love of trap/hip-hop music into a cardio and body weight training program.

IS KRUNKFIT TAUGHT BY A CERTIFIED INSTRUCTOR?

Yes. Wendy has received her group fitness training credentials from the American Council on Exercise (ACE). ACE is nationally accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). ACE provides continuing education, and access to science-based health and fitness information

WILL I NEED EQUIPMENT?

As with any exercise program, a proper amount of water is encouraged. Beyond this, you will need a mat for the floor based work and towel for the awesome sweat you will be dripping :-) 

HOW LONG IS THE CLASS?

Every effort is made to start class in a timely manner. All cardio classes are scheduled for one hour. This includes 40 minutes of cardio and strength training plus 10 minutes of floorbased work.

IS KRUNKFIT LIKE ZUMBA OR A DANCE BASED FITNESS CLASS?

No. Although KrunkFit follows a beat, the moves are more relational to kickboxing, cross-fit and body weight power training.

DO YOU OFFER NUTRITIONAL ADVICE TO ATTENDEES?

No. Nutritional advice and planning should be handled by a certified nutritionist, nutritional specialist or doctor. However, KrunkFit works with great a food prep vendor to provide excelent meal options to those interested. Even with meal prep, it is up to the individual to understand his/her/their dietary needs.

DO I HAVE TO BE IN GOOD SHAPE TO DO KRUNKFIT?

No. KrunkFit has modified versions and is designed to build endurance and strength. You're not expected to be an athlete, only expected to give your best.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

Absolutely! You're child/ren are welcome to workout with you in order to encourage a healthy lifestyle and set a positive example.

IS KRUNKFIT OFFERED LIVE?

YES! We have class offerings online. Feel free to join us virtually!
